My sincere condolences to the family and friends of "Miss Ladd" She was my grade 3 teacher at Prince Edward Public School. She was also a "neighbour" living a few blocks down the street from me. I never pass that house and not think of her. She will live on very fondly in my memories.

My deepest sympathy for the family of the loss of a great lady. Miss Ladd was my grade 3 teacher, and I remember her fondly. First teaching me grace and manners (I was a bit of a tomboy), and second telling us that every word starting with Q in the english language was followed by a U. If you could prove her wrong she would give you $5 (which was like a million back then). What a sweet lady, I have thought about her so often....I can still smell her Avon hand cream. Bless you all, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs

RIP Miss Ladd. Miss Ladd was my grade 3 teacher at Prince Edward Public School, we also attended the same church and I tried to hide from her because she would remind me to have my homework done and ready to hand in Monday morning now forty years later I want to thank Miss Ladd for all her kindness and caring, always loved and always remembered.

To all of the family I am deeply saddened by the loss of this wonderful lady. As my first grade teacher, she inspired me to become a teacher and mentored me through the process. I boarded with her while attending Teachers College and those were some of my happiest memories. I was honoured to call her "Aunt Ver" as she treated me like family. She was a dear friend and advisor. I'll cherish my memories of her always and be forever thankful for all that she did for me and my family.
